Advisory Council

The Capital Markets Advisory Council is a commission of the Finance Ministry whose goal is to support dialogue and interaction between the government and the private sector regarding strategies for developing the financial market. It was established in September 2008 and is composed of renowned professionals, including academics and representatives from the banking, insurance, mutual fund and investment fund sectors, corporate and financial attorneys, as well as representatives of issuers and intermediaries of publicly offered securities.  The purpose of the council is to create reform proposals, identify legal or regulatory issues that require improvement and evaluate regulatory modifications in the financial environment.
