Who currently manages the funds?

In accordance with decrees in force, the Minister of Finance can commend the management of the funds to the Central Bank of Chile, as well as External Managers, in compliance with investment guidelines established by the Ministry of Finance.

Currently, the Central Bank of Chile administers the sovereign fixed income portfolio for both funds  which includes sovereign and government related bonds, and banking deposits. External Managers administer the equity and corporate fixed income portfolios (the latter only in the case of the PRF)

In order to diversify and be able to compare between different agents, each asset class in which the funds are externally managed is entrusted to two different asset managers. In the case of the equity portfolio, the managers are Bank of New York Mellon and BlackRock, while in the case of the corporate fixed income portfolio the managers are Rogge Global Partners and BlackRock.
