Public Debt Office

Introduction

The Public Debt Office proposes to the Minister of Finance the Debt Strategy and implement the decisions related to the issuance of Treasury bonds, allowing to collect resources to finance the budget necessities of the Government at the lowest possible cost, considering the associated risk. At the same time, it supports the depth and market liquidity of the local market, facilitating the access to chilean companies to the local and international market, establishing benchmark rates and contributing to better financing conditions for the country.

Finally, the Public Debt Office promotes the ESG finances (Environmental, Social and Governance), and is commited to a continuous presence in this market.
